Tea seed meal is the residue of camellia seed after
extracting tea oil, contains a great deal of saponin, which is
a kind of soluble toxin and an ideal pond-cleaning agent
,eliminating not only various wild fishes and shrimps but also
spawns of frogs, tadpoles, earthworms, leech, nematodes etc.
However, tea seed meal is no dangerous to the pond vegetation.
This material can make the shrimp exuviate in the early time
,making them grow more quickly and assist the decomposition of
organic fertiliser ,accelerating the growth of the algae.
Saponin is easily soluble in alkaline liquid and the curative
effect gets better when you add a little limewater. Since the
protein content of tea seed meal is high, it is a fairly
efficient fertiliser. For ponds where silt is rare and whose
basement soil is barren, tea seed meal makes excellent
fertilising effect generating no pollution.
Tea seed
meal can be broken down into several types:tea seed meal with
straw ,tea seed meal without straw ,tea seed powder, tea seed
cake and so on .
